Shadow Reports
Shadow reports for the 41st and 42nd CEDAW Session are now available at IWRAW Asia Pacific.

The General Assembly approved the UN General Assembly Third Committee's Draft Resolution to increase the number of sessions of the CEDAW Committee from 2 sessions to 3 sessions per year. This entails an amendment to Article 20 of the Convention to make the change permanent.

The Secretariat has made available online summary records from the eighteenth to the forty-second sessions of CEDAW. These are useful documents that record the dialogue between the Committee and States parties. Note that the transfer of the Secretariat from DAW to OHCHR is effective January 1, 2008.
