Vacancies
: Internships
IWRAW Asia
Pacific has an on-going internship programme that offers successful
applicants exposure to a range of women's human rights issues
and knowledge on CEDAW and related treaty bodies. You will also
be able to gain research, advocacy and/or organising skills. Depending
on the duration and timing of the internship, we also usually
provide interns with a chance to gain hands-on experience through
involvement in one of our trainings. Interns are also expected
to help out with day-to-day administrative work in the office.
Preference
is given to applicants who meet the following criteria:
-
Those
who can stay with us ideally for three months (or longer) or
at minimum, one month.
-
Those
who have recently completed or are in the process of completing
a masters degree related to human rights, social justice and/or
feminism, and preferably with a legal background and/or experience.
Please bear
in mind that internships with us are not paid. Applicants are
advised to seek financial support independently.
