cedaw4change is an online discussion forum aimed at collating and disseminating information in the pursuit of women's equality. It is hosted and moderated by IWRAW Asia Pacific. Primarily focused on the implementation of the Convention of Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (the CEDAW Convention) and its Optional Protocol, this moderated discussion group aims to facilitate the building of women's capacity to access their rights through the CEDAW Convention and the other international human rights treaties. With the active participation of women's groups, lawyers, judges, activists, universities, governments and international organisations from all sections of society and the world, cedaw4change aims to be an invaluable tool in identifying the most effective means of improving the status of women.
